Recently I learn Nick Klingensmith’s story Through The Fire: The story of the 4-time most cancers survivor, type-1 diabetic, and recovering alcoholic who turned an impediment course racer and defied all of it. Nick is a critical newbie impediment course racer who has accomplished a number of “trifectas” (finishing all three distances supplied in Spartan racing). This is a tremendous story of sickness and restoration. Nick survived a number of bouts of most cancers, together with recurring thyroid most cancers, and can also be a sort 1 diabetic. His story of overcoming adversities from his youth, plus these sicknesses, in addition to recovering from alcoholism may be very inspiring. Nothing can maintain him down. The story intertwines flashbacks to the previous with present racing challenges in an enchanting manner.
