Maddie Beja – decided to succeed

“So much of this industry is going out there and working as hard as you can, making sure you’re giving 110% of everything you do because that’s a reflection on you,” says Beja of Risk Placement Services (RPS).

Advice for future Rising Stars
Dogbey recommends surrounding your self with individuals to bounce concepts off and study from.
“Early in my career, I didn’t realize the impact my peers had,” he explains.
Whether it was collaborating with a property skilled or a threat analyst, Dogbey was in a position to reap the benefits of these relationships to construct his information and purchase a holistic understanding of the insurance coverage {industry} as an alternative of his siloed space of affect and dangers.
He says, “Being able to leverage the people around you – not just senior leaders in the organization – but people next to you and going through the same things day to day is very important.”

Meanwhile, Beja espouses the necessity to look long-term and on the greater image.
“Look at your current position and your company as a career and not a job,” she explains. “Really have a look at the corporate that you simply be part of and ensure it’s someplace to set down roots and actually develop and develop.
