If you had a Marketplace plan and used
to decrease your month-to-month cost, you’ll need to “reconcile” whenever you file your 2018 taxes.
Step 1: Check Form 1095-A for accuracy
Make positive your protection and family info in your Form 1095-A is appropriate. If something is fallacious, contact the Marketplace Call Center.
Also, examine your
by Part III, Column B of your 1095-A, titled “Monthly second lowest-cost Silver Plan (SLCSP) premium.”
The SLCSP premium is inaccurate if:
- Part III, Column B has a “0” or is clean for any month somebody in your family had the Marketplace plan.
- You had adjustments in your family that you simply didn’t report in your Marketplace utility — like having a child, shifting, getting married or divorced, or dropping a dependent.
