Lockton has introduced the appointment of Sara Romine (pictured above) as US normal counsel. Mitchell succeeds Ann Abercrombie, who retired in May after 18 years with the corporate.

Romine additionally served as a clerk for federal judges within the Fifth US Circuit Court of Appeals and the US District Court for the Northern District of Florida.

Romine is Lockton’s newest rent. Last month, the corporate appointed Ben Ryan as a senior dealer at Lockton Re, its international reinsurance enterprise. In July, Lockton appointed Matthew Clodwick as vp and producer in its Cleveland workplace.
