As Black History Month involves an in depth, it’s important to take a second to replicate on this 12 months’s theme, “Black Art – The Infusion of African, Caribbean, and Black American Lived Experiences.” 

Our worker enterprise useful resource group, BEACON, launched into a purposeful journey to have fun and amplify the voices of Black artists. This theme served because the guiding gentle for BEACON’s initiatives all through the month, creating a novel and dynamic house for exploration, training, and celebration.

Personally, the exploration of Black Art throughout this month has been a journey of discovery and connection. The infusion of African, Caribbean, and Black American lived experiences in artwork has offered a lens via which to understand the depth of cultural narratives, the resilience of communities, and the celebration of id.

It’s a reminder that artwork shouldn’t be merely an expression; it’s a testomony to the collective experiences that form our perceptions of the world.

With BEACON, the celebration of Black History Month took on a novel and dynamic kind. This 12 months, we selected to amplify the voices of Black workers at DataRobot via a devoted podcast centered on the theme of Black Art. The episode delved into the intricate tales behind numerous artwork varieties, exploring how they function vessels for cultural preservation, activism, and private expression.

In producing the podcast episode, we witnessed firsthand the ability of storytelling in fostering understanding and unity.
