Global brokerage Gallagher has introduced that it has acquired Brooklyn-based Aloia McKinnon Insurance Brokerage.

Aloia McKinnon, based in 1947, is a common insurance coverage company specializing in small companies and people. It serves shoppers in Brooklyn and the broader Tri-State space.

As a part of the acquisition, Dean Aloia, Tom Aloia and the Aloia-McKinnon staff will be part of the Gallagher Agency Alliance, a merger and acquisitions mannequin specializing in companies specializing in small enterprise P&C insurance coverage and worker advantages. They will report back to Jen Tadin, managing director of Gallagher’s world small enterprise apply.

“With its strong reputation as a neighborhood broker, Aloia McKinnon is an ideal fit for the Gallagher Agency Alliance’s small business strategic focus,” Tadin mentioned. “By joining Gallagher Agency Alliance, Dean, Tom and their team can continue to focus on what they do best while benefiting from Gallagher’s market reach and niche expertise.
