Gallagher snaps up Texas MGA

Arthur J. Gallagher & Co. has introduced that Risk Placement Services (RPS), its US wholesale brokerage, binding authority and applications division, has acquired Texas-based Tejas American General Agency (TAGA). Terms of the transaction weren’t disclosed.

Founded in 1997, TAGA is a managing basic company that gives industrial, farm and private insurance coverage merchandise to unbiased brokers all through Texas.

As a part of the deal, TAGA leaders Bart Koch, Anita Herzog, Cindy Yorkovich, Richard Salley and their staff will stay of their present location. They will report back to Kevin Doyle, vp – Western Region and Chicago for RPS.
