Davies snaps up claims management platform

Davies, a specialist skilled providers and know-how agency that serves the insurance coverage trade and extremely regulated markets, has introduced that it has acquired Quick Internet Software Solutions, referred to as ClaimPilot, a supplier of claims administration software program for third-party directors, impartial adjusters and self-insured entities.

Texas-based ClaimPilot’s web-based software-as-a-service platform will be built-in with insurers’ programs and gives customized claims monitoring and reporting options. Through ClaimPilot’s Lloyd’s reporting functionality, customers can report particular knowledge on dangers and claims transacted below contracts and syndicates, Davies mentioned.

ClaimPilot will be part of Davies world know-how unit. ClaimPilot president and CEO David Quick will proceed to guide the enterprise, reporting to Jason Wolf, senior vp of know-how at Davies. All ClaimPilot staff will proceed of their present roles.

ClaimPilot is Davies’ newest acquisition. In September, the corporate acquired Johns Eastern Company, a Florida-based TPA. In December 2021, it acquired Merlinos & Associates, an actuarial and consulting enterprise.
