Crum & Forster’s (C&F) Accident & Health Division has introduced the appointment of Joseph Muccia (pictured above) as chief monetary officer.

Muccia beforehand served as vice chairman of operations for the division. In that position, he oversaw the division’s program claims, auditing, accounting and reporting groups.

In his new position, Muccia will assume elevated management in these areas whereas spearheading funding and acquisition alternatives for the division, C&F stated in a information launch.

“As the C&F Accident & Health Division continues to expand its captive business and capabilities, Joe will lead all financial-related duties pertaining to this diversified portfolio,” stated Gary McGeddy, president of Crum & Forster Accident & Health. “Joe will hold a pivotal role in the continued success and growth of the A&H Division.”

Prior to becoming a member of C&F, Muccia labored at KPMG. He joined C&F in 2009 and have become a part of the Accident & Health division in 2016. He has performed a key position in lots of the division’s strategic initiatives, together with the event of its captive firm within the Cayman Islands, a number of acquisitions, and the sale of the pet operation.

“I am honored to assume the role of chief financial officer of Accident & Health and join the division’s senior leadership team,” Muccia stated. “The division has a tremendous track record, and I look forward to contributing to its continued progress.”
