U.S. Commerce Secretary Gina Raimondo in the present day appointed Cisco Chair and CEO Chuck Robbins to the U.S.-EU Trade and Technology Council’s Talent for Growth Task Force. The Task Force’s goal is to place the U.S. and European Union (EU) to construct a well-trained workforce essential to sustaining transatlantic competitiveness in rising and current applied sciences.

Cisco Networking Academy’s mission is to offer an equitable and inclusive workforce improvement program on a worldwide scale. Founded in 1997, Cisco Networking Academy continues to be one of many longest-standing IT skills-to-jobs packages on this planet. To date, over 17.5 million international learners have taken Cisco Networking Academy programs to realize digital expertise. In October 2022, Cisco announced a brand new purpose to offer digital and cybersecurity expertise coaching to 25 million individuals over the following 10 years to place them for in-demand jobs.
The Talent for Growth Task Force is comprised of leaders from authorities, enterprise, organized labor, and organizations that assist coaching within the U.S. and the EU. Members will change data and put together concrete and particular suggestions on the right way to increase expertise improvement and coaching within the U.S. and the EU. The Task Force’s work is meant to advance private and non-private sector initiatives to enhance transatlantic workforce improvement.
