Recovery Day Then Longer Day – BionicOldGuy


On Friday I did a straightforward restoration day of slightly below 20 km. I simply did a tempo that felt comfy, which was fairly gradual (posted on Strava right here). This experience did put me over 600 km for march to date, which was a Strava problem I’d signed up for. At my present charge I’m anticipating to double that for the month, which can be significantly lower than I’d initially thought I’d do once I received enthusiastic about mileage after studying the ebook The Year, however will nonetheless be a lifetime private document. I feel I did a max of slightly below 1000 km once I was commuting to Stanford as a result of my commute was 100 miles per week and I’d generally throw in weekend leisure rides. It feels fairly good that my 71 yr previous self is outdoing my 26 yr previous self, even whether it is at a slower tempo!

Yesterday I used to be again to regular so did an extended experience of about 57 km. Both Friday’s and yesterday’s experience have been on my recumbent. Saturday was a pleasant spring day which I spent largely to the north of Morgan Hill earlier than ending up with some driving round city. Posted on Strava right here.
