Claire chatted to Ffion Llewellyn from Oshen about sea-faring robots and ocean sensing.

Ffion Llewellyn graduated from Imperial College London in 2022 with a masters in Aeronautical Engineering. Following this, she joined Oshen who’re constructing low value, autonomous micro-vessels for distant ocean sensing. Ffion has been centered on the mixing and testing of sensors onto Oshen’s autonomous micro-vessels, together with metocean sensors and hydrophones for the monitoring of marine mammals.
