The Play ransomware gang has begun to leak information from the City of Oakland, California, that was stolen in a current cyberattack.
The preliminary information leak consists of a 10GB multi-part RAR archive allegedly containing confidential paperwork, worker data, passports, and IDs.
“Private and private confidential information, monetary data. IDs, passports, worker full data, human rights violation data. For now partially revealed compressed 10gb,” acknowledged the cybercriminals on their information leak website.
