Golf + Island Hopping
On our third day we had some dreary climate.
A Rising Tide
We’ve by no means see the tide this excessive! Apparently it’s a fall factor.
Mazen and Thomas went to play golf, and Birch and I ran some errands, together with selecting up his birthday cake!
Lunch on the Club
I used to be in want of an enormous salad, so we went to the membership for lunch to satisfy Mazen after his entrance 9.
Flemming Education Center
We had hoped to swim, nevertheless it began to rain. (The pool is heated, however not that heated.) So we went to Flemming on the BHI Conservancy to go to the snakes and turtles!
Fishin’ Time
When Thomas acquired residence all of us took a bit relaxation after which the boys did extra fishing, per normal.
Dinner on the Palms
We had hoped to prepare dinner one evening, however Thomas and I have been feeling fairly lazy, so we went out to dinner once more. Not an ideal use of cash, but in addition, an ideal use of cash : ) : )
We went to the Palms on the Club, which is their extra informal pub.
We had fondue to share (which Mazen LOVED), and I had crab bisque and among the finest brussels sprouts I’ve ever had!
Night evening time
4th Birchday
on Saturday Birch turned 4!!!!!! Check out my Instagram for some recollections of his beginning day.
Lunch Party
After a lazy morning we had his get together at lunchtime. I took the boys for a spooky stroll whereas Thomas embellished.
Gifts
He opened some items!
And went on a scavenger hunt for his “big” reward – a Yoto Player!
Pirate Cake
Then it was cake time! We ordered his cake from Sara at Island Times Cafe. It was all the pieces we had hoped for!
Captain Jack Sparrow beloved it!
Let Them Eat Cake
We didn’t make them eat anything for lunch. Just cake!!
I had cake first after which a bowl of brussels sprouts leftover from dinner. lol.
Halloween on Bald Head Island
After the get together we placed on our costumes for trick or treating!
I’m so glad I believed to pack costumes as a result of we had no concept that most of the island houses take part on this Saturday day-time occasion. I had googled “Halloween on Bald Head Island” and got here up with nothing. It was SO FUN!
Golf Cart Halloween
Thomas was the driving force and I used the map and information to navigate us throughout the island to the houses that have been taking part. We felt an ideal sense of neighborhood after we completed two hours later.
Some of the householders dressed up in costumes. Birch beloved this pirate home.
Spooky Night on the Club
After a relaxation, we headed to the membership for dinner and a haunted home.
The boys had a good time watching the ghouls heat up throughout dinner.
Dinner at Horizons
I had grouper, veggies, and grits for my entrée.
And I used to be so excited to see that the Holderness Family was eating throughout the veranda from us!! You would possibly know them from their humorous musical parody movies or the Amazing Race!
Haunted House
The membership did an epic haunted home. They turned the pool blood purple, and there have been a number of sections. I didn’t get any images because it was so darkish, however Mazen beloved it!
Birch had zero curiosity in going by.
Bon voyage
We headed residence on Sunday morning on the ferry. It was an ideal fall journey!
